* EMILY DOUBILET * Dog 1 (2002) * Emily is lucky to have had the absolute pleasure, delight and hellah crazy times of working with Mark, Connie and the fabulous Faux-Real Theatre Company as the Blue and Yellow Girl Alternate in FUNBOXTimesSquare and as a Fairy in William Shakespeare's Haunted House. She just finished a run in the ensemble feminist show Angry Jellow Bubbles, and is a proud graduate of Jacques D'Amboise's National Dance Institute as well as Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp in Colorado in which she played Berenger in a gender-bending production of Rhinoceros and Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods. Emily teaches theatre and dance to children and disabled children and is a trained Theatre of the Oppressed facilitator. She is finally legal to buy porn and will be attending Oberlin College in Ohio next year as a freshman! She has a cameo in the film Safe Men as "Sweet Denise" and this October, look for her as a skinny-dipping catholic schoolgirl in the new Kevin Kline movie, The Palace Thief. Love to her family and this show is dedicated to her unborn new baby cousin and the parents Rain and Matt. Arooof! * CARRIE DUBOIS * Princess (2002) * With Faux-Real, Carrie has played Juliet in William Shakespeare's Haunted House since 1999, and understudied Pink, Red & Black in FUNBOXTimesSquare. Carrie rocked out in Jeremy X. Halpern's Speak of the Devil, a Satanic Cabaret, at Show World. Her "junk puppet" play Greensnake premiered in the '99 Pop Festival, played theatres, schools, and libraries in NYC and toured regionally. Carrie is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. * ALAN STEFFAN FESSENDEN * Soldier (2002 & 2003) * This is Alan's second appearance with the Faux-Real crew, after playing Romeo in William Shakespeare's Haunted House last October. Alan hails from Tampa, FL, where he co-founded the Jobsite Theater Co. for which he performed and directed a variety of shows including: True West (Austin), Brownbread (director), The History of The Devil (Jesus Christ), and Spring Awakening (director). He also Co-created a new Musical with Paul Reller entitled The Ruins; or Meditations on the Revolutions of Empires and The Law of Nature, which he will remount with the Sun and Splendor Theatre Co. this September at the 78th St Theatre Lab. Alan also appeared in The PerVerse Theatre¹s production of The Autumn Makers (Joanne Zipay, director) last year for the New York International Fringe Festival. * LINDA A. FESSENDEN * Girl (2003) * makes her New York debut with Faux Real Theatre's The Tinderbox. She has recently moved here from Tampa, Florida where she earned a BA in Theatre Arts at the University of South Florida. In Tampa, Linda enjoyed playing Rosalind in Shakespeare's As You Like It; directing Sunshine by Mastrosimone; and working alongside her wonderfully talented brother co-directing Spring Awakening by Weidekend. Once again she shares the stage with her brother, Alan, and wants to thank the Faux Real Theatre for this wonderful opportunity. She also thanks her family and friends for their endless support. * MERICK MARK FORRESTER * Dog 3 (2002 & 2003) * "Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls; Welcome." Merick is making his New York Professional debut with the Faux-Real Theatre Company. He recieve a B.S Degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and studied in England at Edge Hill University. Merick spent last summer with the Siouxland Shakesphere Company Production of A Midsummer Night's Dream and also starting his Film debut in Dead Roses which is scheduled for release this fall. Some of Merick's Acting credits include: The Ideal Husband- Lord Caversham; Twelfth Night- Antonio; Antigone- 2nd Guard; among other classicals, musicals and chilldren shows. Merick wishes to thank Mark and his directing team for casting him in the show and for believing in him. 2nd he would like to thank his dearest mom, Elsa for all her love and support through the years. 3rd, he would like to thank all his friends from all over the world for believing in me and also for their love and support. So who let the Dogs out,,,WOOFFFFF.........come and see the show......and hear me bark like a Dog...Woffffff..... * ALEX FRY * Jacques Pierre (2003) * Prince Randolph / Male Understudy (2002) * This is Mr. Fry's first production with Faux-Real. Recently, Alex has been acting in several short films and small independents. His last theater role was at the Kraine Theater in Alex Dawson's Barman. Other theater credits include: Danny in Sexual Perversity in Chicago (Present Theater Co.); Zaytsev in The Night Before the Trial (Todo Con Nada); Austin in True West (Atlantic Theater Co.); and Balthazar in Romeo and Juliet (Count Basie Co.). Alex is a graduate of Atlantic Theater Professional Acting School. * ENZO GENTILLE * Dog 2 (2002) * "Thank you for coming to this show. I hope we made you smile." Enzo has been creating and observing for a relative amount of time. New York Classical Theater, Theater for the New City, Jelmack Productions, are a few of the organizations he has worked with. Along with acting, Enzo co-founded SevenEye Productions; currently working on a feature length documentary. Pleased to be working again with Faux-Real, and thanks for the invitation. And by the way...who let the Dog's out? * MARK GREENFIELD * Ringleader (2003) * Jacques-Pierre (2002) * Mark founded the Faux-Real Theatre Co. in 1994 with their first production Htebcam (Macbeth backwards). Since then he has created several large-scale works with the Faux-Real ensemble including William Shakespeare's Haunted House, FUNBOX2000 and FUNBOXTimesSquare. Acting credits include I Guillari Di Piazza at Lincoln Center with Imago, Faux-Real's The Naked Show and projects with Ralph Lee and Gorilla Rep. Special thanks to Mom and Dad who have made it all possible. * TIFFANY HODGES * Princess (2003) * Coquette de la Fleur Perdu / Witch Understudy (2002) * Tiffany is a native Texan. She received her BFA in Theatre from Stephen F. Austin State University. She spent a year with Milwaukee Repertory Theatre where she performed in such productions as Private Eyes, The School For Wives, and A Christmas Carol. Tiffany returned to Texas where she performed all over the Dallas area. Some of her favorite roles include Stella - A Street Car Named Desire; Mary - On The Verge; Corrie - Barefoot in the Park; Lil'Bit - How I Learned to Drive"; and Cecily - The Importance of Being Earnest. * TARA MOONEY * Dog 2 (2003) * Performing on stage, in film, on the streets, in abandoned factories and country hillsides throughout the U.S. and Canada, Tara has been the co-creator of many collaborative performance projects and creator of original solo works since 1983. Since moving to New York City from Boston in September 2002, she's become a member of Project Play Repertory Company, performed in Brecht's Antigone at Columbia University and is now enjoying a run with Faux Real Theater Company as Max. Her original solo works have appeared at Mobius, the Boston Center for the Arts, the Back Alley Theater and the Actor's Workshop with the Performance Cult. Along with members of United for a Fair Economy's Class Acts Theater Troupe, she was a delegate to the 1997 International Festival of the Theater of the Oppressed in Toronto. In 1999, she enjoyed rave reviews as part of Harvard University's production of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues directed by Billie Jo Joy. As part of Hysterical Productions' 2001 ensemble play Hysterical!, Tara received popular acclaim for her portrayal of "Iamnotaclown," a completely silent role. Mooney has trained extensively utilizing the arts as intervention in therapeutic healing, group conflict resolution and as a means for dialogue. Teaching & directing credits include: Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, Newton Public Schools and for Until Tomorrow Productions, Medicine Wheel Productions and Open Air Circus. Currently, she works with Arts from the Heart, a therapeutic arts program in the lower east side helping youth deal with trauma from 9/11 utilizing puppetry, storytelling, theater, dance, visual art and music. Fat love to Chooch. * GENA OPPENHEIM * Coquette de la Fleur Perdu (2003) * Gena is a native New Yorker who recieved her BA in American Studies from Barnard College. She is tinkled pink to be making her debut with the Faux Real gang. She recently got back from a stint touring the country as The Genie in Aladdin. If you didn’t blink you might have seen her as Curious Girl #1 on a recent Law & Order and as a student at the way end of the school hallway on Ed. She would like to give much thanks to Laura B. for giving her the introduction to this merry band of players and to the gang at Cat Cosmetics and her roommates in #4 for just being a swell bunch of folks. Love to Mom and Dad! * CONSTANCE TARBOX * Witch / Lady (2002 & 2003) * Constance is the President of the Faux-Real Theatre Company, of which she has been a member since 1996. She has played Lady M, Regan and Tamora in William Shakespeare's Haunted House, which she helped write and assistant directs annually. She recently reprised "Pink" in Faux-Real's long-running FUNBOXTimesSquare, after originating the role in FunBox2000. She has also acted and/or directed with Gorilla Rep, Expanded Arts, The 2Texans, and Synapse Productions. * EMILY WEISS * Girl / Coquette Understudy (2002) * Emily has just graduated from Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn Heights. Since seventh grade, Emily has written and performed in many plays at school. She has also experimented with different modes of improvisation throughout her years at Saint Ann's, including her role as an auctioneer in Chasama's BARTER BOX in Times Square. Emily is looking forward to continuing creative writing and theater at Northwestern University in the fall. * LANCE WINDISH * Dog 1 (2003) * Lance's performing experience runs the gamut from Cirque Du Soleil to television comercials, peppered wih lots of theater. He is grateful for this oppurtunity to strut and fret with the Faux-Real company. * DAVID Z * Ringleader (2002) * David Z has worked with Mr. Greenfield before on both Faux-Real's William Shakespeare's Haunted House and Gorilla Rep's Henry IV, parts 1 & 2. * MIKE ZARTMAN * King (2002 & 2003) * Mike Zartman first started getting down and dirty with Faux-Real in Constance Tarbox's The Naked Show. Since then, he has returned annually to join the cast of William Shakespeare's Haunted House. * LAURETTE ZION * Queen (2002 & 2003) * This is Laurette's 4th show with Faux Real and she is thrilled to be working with such a talented group of people. Laurette, whom is a native New Yorker, has been in numerous productions in and around town. She is a graduate of the William Esper Acting School and holds a BA in Fine Arts from Marist College. She thanks her husband for his never ending support and she sends love to Ellie P. |
